Are there different types of anal warts?
There are two types of anal warts: Condyloma Accuminatum & Condyloma Latum.
Accuminatum warts are pink to off-white warts that appear on the anus (anal warts) and genital area as a result of infection by the thyloma virus. see album
Latum warts are infrarenal and moist anal warts and are indicative of the presence of secondary syphilis. These warts are treated by treating the underlying syphilis infection with antibiotics.
