Hemorrhoids and pregnancy. Do not be afraid of them
Hemorrhoids often occur during pregnancy as a result of hormonal changes, changes in bowel habits (constipation) and increased intra-abdominal pressures.
According to clinical studies, the percentage of pregnant women affected by hemorrhoids is around 25-35%, with 85% of these occurring during the third month of pregnancy. In most women the symptoms resolve on their own after the birth of their child.
Until then, conservative treatment is recommended with increased fiber and fluid intake, lukewarm baths, and if necessary topical treatment ONLY with special healing ointments and always on the advice of the gynecologist or specialist doctor.
The method of laser hemorrhoideoplasty is only indicated in cases of exacerbation of hemorrhoidal disease.
